I joined Cranemere soon after its founding, after many years in the private equity world, because I thought its business plan presented a unique and compelling way to participate in the next generation of private financing activity.

For far too long, too much private capital has focused on short to medium term returns without regard to the obvious benefits of a long term strategy. Einstein noted that compounding is one of the strongest forces in the universe, and I found that concept even more compelling when coupled with a model that allowed capital to grow without the fees, expenses and disruptions of a turnover every few years.

Cranemere’s adoption of this long term philosophy excited me and I knew early on that I wanted to be a part of this organization.

I have enjoyed seeing this business plan prove itself and watching what was originally a small team grow into an established and widely admired group that is talented, cohesive, spirited and happy.
