My upbringing has influenced who I am today because it taught me the value of family cohesion. I come from a large family, with seven siblings living across the U.S. and Europe. The older I get, the more I understand the parallels between fruitful family dynamics and the real world. Trust, transparency, and shared purposes create resilient relationships both in and out of the home. Cranemere shares those values in their approach to partnerships with businesses, which is a core reason for why I joined the team.

If I weren’t in finance, I would probably be an airline pilot. I’m an aviation geek and a passionate traveler, but I also firmly believe in the value of seeing the world and interacting with different perspectives firsthand. I think the opportunity to help people reach over the horizon is a satisfying way to make our planet feel a little smaller. Plus, the heavily-discounted airfare would be a nice perk.

This pandemic period has given me the chance to take stock of what is most important in life, and it has taught me how a challenge to the status quo can accelerate change and spur innovation. I believe that major obstacles in life or in business can be opportunities in disguise for progress.
